Zespol Szkol Technicznych Mechanik
According to the Perspektywy Magazine ZST Mechanik is 14th the best technician school in Lower Silesia and 3rd in our City- thus obtaining the honorary title in accordance with the rules adopted by the Perspektywy Educational Foundation.
The school complex consists of: Technical Secondary School, First Degree Branch School and High school for adults. Number of students: 728. We educate in occupations: automotive technician mechatronics, building construction, renewable energy devices and systems, graphics and digital printing. The school takes part in EU projects. The "Modernization of vocational training in Lower Silesia" project is one of the largest School of Key Competences "To be entrepreneurial - learning by doing."
We organize projects, additional extracurricular activities, professional internships for students and teachers, specialized courses, visits abroad study, innovative didactic programs and professional projects. As follows from the above, teachers, students and their parents are interested in European aspects of teaching and hence participation in the international project for improving the quality of school work. We are very motivated to join this project in order to make our school more international, to gain new ideas and teaching tools, to exchange good practices and for the most to we want our students to experience new challenges and European dimension.
Key school employees whose competences and experience will allow for the smooth implementation of the project are:
1. The school Principal - Here: responsible for project management. Substitution in case of leaving the post -Deputy Principal.
2. Coordinator of the project - responsible for the activities resulting from the contracts signed, necessary preparation
documentation, monitoring the course of foreign delegations, cooperation with partners. Sunstitution in case of leaving the post - second coordinator, English teacher engaged in the project from the beginning.
3. Chief Accountant - responsible for preparation and inclusion of the Project in the school's financial plan. Accounting for delegations and invoices,
reporting. Substitution in case of leaving the post, second accountant working at school.
4. School second Deputy Principal -responsible for project evaluation and inclusion of experience and competences acquired
employees to plan the institution's strategic development in the future. Substitution in case of leaving the post-first Deputy Principal.
